Help Desk Technician

Do you enjoy working with computers and people? Do you have experience and skill for solving IT problems? Are you passionate about improving our world? We are a team of over 40 IT professionals, working closely together to support over 100 amazing nonprofit organizations.

Help Desk Technicians are responsible for providing technical assistance and direct support to Community IT clients’ users. This includes installation, operation and maintenance of desktop hardware, software and related infrastructure.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of recent hands-on IT support experience
• Interest in working with nonprofit organizations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A+, MCP certification preferred

Junior Network Engineer

The Junior Network Engineer is an advanced technical position that requires a high level of understanding and comfort with Community IT’s recommended technologies. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and ability and outstanding troubleshooting and problem solving skills. In addition, an engineer must possess excellent customer service and communication skills to be able to provide technical recommendations and explain technical issues to clients in clear terms. Our Junior Network Engineers are primarily responsible for the technical support and maintenance of backend network infrastructure components.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of recent hands-on network engineering experience
  • Interest in working with nonprofit organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MCSA in Server Technologies

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with MSP Management Tools such as LabTech
  • Scripting/PowerShell experience
  • Ability to provide mentorship to junior staff
  • Certifications in Cisco, Google Apps, VMWare, Apple or MCSE
