photo of Eva TownsendAs a Network Manager, Eva Townsend oversees the maintenance and health of client networks and currently specializes in evaluation and planning of IT infrastructure. Eva joined Community IT in 2012 after working in the IT field since 2004 and at nonprofit organizations since 1997.
Eva holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems Science from University of the District of Columbia and has earned certifications in CompTIA A+, Microsoft Office Specialist, and ITIL Foundation. She enjoys carpentry, gardening, and participating in projects that help reduce poverty, protect the environment, and promote the arts.

Nura Aboki is the lead Network Manager at Community IT Innovators. In that role, he leads the team of network managers who proactively oversee technology infrastructure for assigned clients, as well as handling his own book of clients. Nura started his career at Community IT as a Network Administrator in 2009. In 2012, he was promoted to Network Engineer and also assumed a supervisory role.
As a Network Manager, Nura guides some of our largest clients through implementing effective technology investments and utilizing efficient IT services in direct support of their missions. Included are College Summit, Land Trust Alliance, Forum For Youth Investment, LIFT, Land Trust Alliance, and Council for a Strong America.
Prior to joining Community IT Innovators, Nura served as a member of the technical support team at George Washington University where he provided incident management to over 20,000 end users on computer hardware, software, and networking issues. Nura also held a Network Specialist role at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Parliament in Abuja, Nigeria.
Nura holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from George Washington University. He continues development of his professional competence through continuing studies in Technology Management.
Family is a priority for Nura and, thus, they get most of his leisure time. He also enjoys politics, sports, cooking, reading, and watching “American Ninja Warrior.”
