Ready to prepare your nonprofit budget?
Ready to try, once again, to anticipate what you will need to cover in IT, and to be able to explain it to your organization?
Ready for the inevitable compromises?  The lovable push-pull of overhead vs programs?
As we approach the end of the year, it is time for many nonprofit organizations to start putting together their annual budget.  If you have an IT wish list, you aren’t alone.  If you have a guaranteed steady funding stream for your IT, you probably are very alone.
IT is often an anxiety producing part of any organization’s budget.  It can feel so mundane. It isn’t as glamorous as social media. We know instinctively that putting the minimum expense into IT and hoping things turn out ok is probably not the best path – but how do you know where to put the best money in?
Whether you are directly responsible for putting together the budget or a contributor to the budget, this webinar covers the basics. Steve Longenecker and Cedric Boyd have assisted with IT budgets at many nonprofits and have seen the good, the bad, and the not so pretty.  They share their insights and tips with you.
*In response to inquiries please note – in our 15+ years of experience working exclusively with nonprofits, we have learned there is absolutely no “one-size-fits-all” budget document possible, and we won’t be providing one. The wide variety in process, and in where IT reports, make us skeptical of universal budget generalizations. However, we do have advice on what needs to be included, no matter how your organization goes about budgeting, and we will also provide ideas on describing your needs and benefits to the non-techies at your org.
